July 2026 Claim Report

What players chased, told by 4,944 real claims · 2026-08-01

DATA ARCHIVE

What is this report?

This is the site's first monthly data report. Unlike the subjective tier lists you find around the web, every number here comes from claims that players on this site actually submitted and actually received — players voting with their once-a-day allowance for the cards they genuinely want.

The methodology up front: the data covers 2026-07-15 through 07-31 (claim status tracking went live on 7/15, and earlier records cannot be reconstructed), counting only requests whose status reached Delivered, with the site admin's test requests removed. The statistics cover both the delivery and trade channels; for the live cumulative chart, see the claim ranking.

July at a glance: scale and growth

  • Completed claims: 4,944 — 3,904 via delivery (79%) and 1,040 via trade (21%).
  • Participating players: 743 unique Player IDs.
  • 291 claims per day on average; the busiest day was 7/31 with 821 claims — 2.8 times the daily average.

The end-of-month surge was no accident: from mid-July onward the site was introduced by Taiwanese player communities and partner creators, and traffic climbed visibly in the final stretch. One practical reminder for regulars — during evening peak hours the delivery allowances drain fast, and popular cards can briefly show "no delivery account available." Avoid the peak, or come soon after the 14:00 Taiwan-time reset, and your success rate will be at its highest.

Three signals worth noting

① Mega ex cards rule the top. Three Mega ex cards sit near the summit — Mega Rayquaza ex and Mega Sharpedo ex in the top four, joined by Mega Metagross ex at #7 — and together with Hoopa ex, the new expansion's signature ex cards all but monopolized head demand. What they share is a claims-per-player figure close to 1.0: almost everyone claimed exactly one copy — the classic "grab the flagship card first" behavior.

② The high-ratio cards are the real deck staples. Venusaur ex (3.29), Darkrai (3.12), Poison Barb (2.35), Igglybuff (2.02) — none of these drew huge player counts, but each averaged more than two claims per player, which means players came back to complete a playset for their deck. If you want to know what the current meta actually runs, the ratio is a better read than the raw total.

③ The ◆3 dark horses. Igglybuff and Darkrai — both ◆3 — cracked the top ten, breaking the usual "ranking = ex showcase" pattern. ◆3 cards are not especially hard pulls from packs, yet players still spent allowance on double copies — a signal that demand for support slots is underrated.

Rarity distribution: allowance spent where it counts

The rarity breakdown of July's completed claims: ◆4 at 51% (2,518 claims), ◆3 at 27% (1,359), ◆2 at 17% (822), and ◆1 at just 4% (181).

This inverted pyramid follows cost logic exactly: ◆1 and ◆2 cards pile up from ordinary pack openings, so few people spend a daily allowance on them; the harder a card is to pull, the more it deserves a pinpoint claim. If you are still spending allowance on ◆1 cards, check the acquisition table in Card Rarity Explained and save your allowance for the most expensive needs.

Failure stats: seven in ten failures were avoidable

July saw 217 requests end in failure (a failure rate of about 4%). A full seventy percent of them (153) shared a single cause: "this friend has already received a gift today" — meaning your account had already accepted a gift that day from another source (a friend's present, another service), so the game refused the delivery outright.

The fix is simple: before claiming, think about whether you have already received someone's gift today; if you have, switch to the trade channel (its allowance is counted separately) or come back tomorrow. Most of the remaining failures were trade timeouts and scattered out-of-stock cases — see the complete claim guide and the Trade Feature Guide for troubleshooting.

What we'll watch next

For the August report we plan to watch: how quickly the ranking reshuffles once the next expansion lands, whether the Mega ex wave keeps its momentum, and whether trade's share of claims keeps climbing. Want your picks counted in next month's data? Have you used today's allowance?
